At Couch White Josh has largely focused his practice on the review and development of solar, hydro and wind projects on behalf of developers, lenders and investors with an emphasis on real estate, real property and real property taxation issues.
In addition, Josh serves as Agent or Examining Counsel for three major title insurance companies and handles all aspects of real estate transactions. Josh also has substantial litigation experience in state and federal courts throughout New York State.

Professional Experience
- Real estate diligence for closing and development of dozens of community solar projects throughout New York State.
- Represented hydro owner in the structuring and implementation of a successful JV with a crypto mining company for an existing project and future acquisitions.
- Due diligence review of multiple wind projects on behalf of lenders and investors throughout New York State.
- General Counsel for hydro and biodiesel companies looking to expand their operations within New York State, the Northeast Corridor and the Midwest.
- Represent clients in acquisition and sale of hydro, biodiesel, wind and solar assets and the companies owning those assets.
- Creation of corporate structures for startup biodiesel firm to accommodate non-monetary equity contributions, incorporate minority interest protections, protect founders and angel investors and expand with additional investors and investments.
- Outside General Counsel for start-up New York City biodiesel firm from conception through expansion of operations throughout the Northeast Corridor and Project finance.
- Counseling clients on structuring and closing all aspects of corporate and transactional matters.
