Please join us in congratulating Couch White’s very own Katherine Crain for being selected as an honoree for the Albany Business Review’s Women In Business Awards, Women on the Rise.
Since 2019, Kate has led Couch White’s Trust and Estate practice to unprecedented growth and success. Her tireless efforts and unwavering work ethic have made it possible for the Firm to triple the active legal services that are provided to clients. Currently, Kate is a partner and serves as Couch White’s Trust and Estate Practice Group Chair. She is also instrumental to the Firm’s administration as well as its marketing and IT committees.
In addition to serving as a Board Member of the Empire State Youth Orchestra and Secretary of the Estate Planning Council of Eastern New York, Kate was a business succession planning roundtable lecturer for UHY—one of the biggest professional services and CPA accounting firms in the United States—and earned the prestigious LLM in Taxation Law from New York University School of Law. Kate also leads Couch White’s new Private Client Services offering, providing innovative solutions and interdisciplinary guidance to high-net-worth clients.
Kate is passionate about mentoring and promoting the professional development of the next generation of attorneys. Recently, she completed the Advancing Women Executives (AWE) Accelerator program to further hone her skills related to leadership and supporting the success of women in the workplace. It’s just one more way she’s impacting her industry and all who work in it. Whether she’s speaking on a panel of experts or providing critical insights to her clients, Kate continues to effect change in her career, colleagues, company, and the legal community as a whole as an unrelenting leader in the Northeast. Congratulations, Kate!
