Couch White is proud to announce Ms. Aldiama (Dee) Anthony has been recognized nationally as an emerging legal talent, receiving several accolades in recent months. Earlier this year, Ms. Anthony was named a Black Woman Lawyer on the Rise at the 2023 National Summit of Black Women Lawyers. In July, the Lawyers of Color named Ms. Anthony to their annual Hot List, recognizing emerging attorneys from across the country. Ms. Anthony joined Couch White to support the firm’s energy practice in August 2022 and is a graduate of the University of Buffalo School of Law.
The National Summit of Black Women Lawyers is hosted every five years by the Black Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater Chicago, Inc. The event brings together Black women judges, attorneys and law students from across the country to empower and encourage the next generation of Black women lawyers. The theme of this year’s summit was Together, We Soar, emphasizing the limitless potential when we work to uplift one another.
The Lawyers of Color’s Annual Hot List recognizes junior- and mid-level attorneys across the country who show promise in their careers and demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing diversity in the legal profession. A reception is held annually in Washington D.C to recognize the year’s honorees.

Ms. Anthony is an associate attorney assisting clients before the New York State Public Service Commission, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority in addition to the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection in matters involving utilities and electric system operators.
