Couch White, LLP has announced that Amanda De Vito Trinsey and Kevin Lang have been named co-chairs of the Energy Practice Group. Ms. Trinsey and Mr. Lang bring more than 40 years of combined experience, leading the energy practice into the future.

Ms. Trinsey has distinguished herself as a leader in the firm, where she has been providing counsel to clients for over a decade. Amanda’s practice is focused on advising businesses and organizations on matters across the energy spectrum, including utility ratemaking, matters before federal and state regulatory agencies, economic development, design and operation of wholesale markets for energy, installed capacity, ancillary services, and transmission services, public policy development and implementation, and judicial proceedings. Her clients include the City of New York, Fortune 500 companies, commercial and industrial trade associations, and electricity and natural gas suppliers.
Mr. Lang is widely recognized for his regulatory expertise and is frequently called upon to handle complex matters. He represents governmental, institutional, and private clients on a wide variety of energy and utility matters, including state and federal regulatory matters, public policy development and implementation, generation and transmission siting, project development, asset acquisitions and other transactions, interconnection matters, judicial proceedings, and more. His clients have included the City of New York, State University of New York, public authorities, utilities, Fortune 500 companies, universities, generation, transmission, and energy storage owners and developers, financial institutions, and energy service companies. Prior to joining Couch White, Mr. Lang’s experience included serving as a Managing Attorney at the New York State Department of Public Service.
Ms. Trinsey and Mr. Lang are both graduates of Albany Law School.
