Couch White is proud to announce that Ms. Medea Asatiani has received the Capital District Women’s Bar Association Exemplary Community Service Award. The award honors an outstanding non-attorney who has distinguished themselves by service to the greater Capital District community in a manner which is consistent with CDWBA’s Mission. Ms. Asatiani worked as a clerk and then a summer associate at Couch White supporting the firm across all practice areas and will join the firm upon completion of her studies at law school.
Medea was recognized for her exceptional work and leadership in the community for many years teaching individuals ESL and is a tireless advocate for women world-wide. In particular, she spent some time advocating for women seeking asylum to the United States.
Ms. Medea Asatiani joined Couch White as a second-year student at Albany Law School. She previously worked as a summer associate at John Sebastian Vaneria, Esq. and as an interpreter and legal assistant to immigrants in New York City. She is fluent in English, Russian and Georgian.
