Our Story

Couch White, LLP traces its roots back to its formation in 1988. For the past 35 years, Couch White has built its reputation as one of Albany’s most respected law firms based upon its relentless commitment to providing excellent legal counseling in a cost-effective manner. Much of our success is the direct result of our efforts to maintain the level of professionalism necessary to attract and retain an extensive, broad-based list of clients, for which we are very grateful. In so doing, we rely on our trusted, dedicated and hard-working administrative staff, which includes not only recent hires, but also key personnel who have been with the firm for more than 30 years.  Our firm consists of approximately 30 attorneys running the gamut from partners and associates who were here when the firm was formed, to those who subsequently joined the firm and have been here for many years, to those who have joined us more recently via a lateral move or upon graduation from law school. We pride ourselves on treating each other with mutual respect, loyalty and genuine concern, which makes the firm a special place to work. Together, we put our clients’ needs as our foremost priority and never stop working to meet those needs in the most ethical, professional manner.
